Tyler was a tackle, not interior, but I'm with you on his luck. Injury, after injury ... never got his chance.

Which brings me to a point. We don't see a lot of guards on the offensive line getting rated this highly.

Great news. Peripheral question: does anyone think that the NCAA shortening the game has any influence on Saban returning to a ball control offense? Seems like he was never really comfortable following the winds of change with high scoring games, all-everything QBs, lots of snaps, etc. If I know Saban like I think I do, all it took was for the NCAA to make a rules change to curb the exploding number of potential plays in a game for him to feel like he could safely return to an offensive approach more to his liking...

Cool. A friend was telling me about it. Cool how Coach Saban uses former players to help with the team. I remember when he was using some past player in practice and other coaches were gripping about it.
