They've got to be missing some information...I don't see UCLA or USC on that list, and I'd be willing to bet that both of them sell more merchadise than Delaware and Temple

I don't think that this is just for football. Also, USC and UCLA are in places where the fans have alot of other things to do besides sports at the college level. As bad as it sounds, alot of the fans in large TV markets tend to be fair weather fans not the rabid fans who buy a new jersey every year.

That is totally to be expected. What was also not a shock is that Alabama was in lucky number 7th place while Auburn was in 13th. Coincidence? I think not.
