Hey, it could happen

In the things-that-make-you-go-hmmm department, these 10 quasi-predictions will raise some eyebrows. Easy football fans, the odds are against these situations actually ever happening, but Stanford (pictured, after upsetting heavily favored USC) and Appalachian State taught us all to never rule out anything in college football. We're not saying these scenarios will actually occur, but they could. Reaching? Yes. Impossible? Never. — Lisa Horne

We'll start with #7.

"Remember, the Vols had the third-best D in the country last year (tied with Alabama) without Monte Kiffin. It can only get better this year."

Yah, teams NEVER take a step back when learning an entirely new defensive scheme.

*rolls eyes*

As a long-time Bucs fan I have confidence in Monte Kiffin at the pro level, but remain curious as to whether we'll see an amazing college defense, and I seriously doubt we'll see a sick defense his first season coaching college in 25 years...

Those are only hypothetical scenarios... but yeah, chances for Tennessee upsetting Florida at The Swamp are equal to ZERO!!, but remember how were it for the Rebels last year. The spread for them was +22 and they did it!!

RTR,

RTR,

I think it was 252 that mentioned this the other day...Miss. St. hasn't lost at home to UF since the mid 80's.
