šŸˆ Tony Brown facing NCAA suspension

Especially with all these cases that GNC sold items with undisclosed illegal ingredients when the labels said ...."No banned substances" Bama could argue he used something like that and may have.....

Here is another issue...rather he knowingly or unknowingly took a banned substance, he still took it. And he still reaps the benefit form that banned substance. The NCAA can force him to sit because he has a decided advantage because of the banned substance. This has certainly been enforced by other governing bodies in other sports. The United States Triathlon Association being one. As matter of fact the USTA uses the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) for regulation. I am sure the NCAA probably follows their guidelines to claim precedence.

Here is a question to ponder. Had Tony been running track during this same time period? If so, wouldn't a possible PED issue suspend him from track meets as well? Just thinking out loud!

That 'effin logic test again.

I'll read into this as, since he continues to practice, Saban has a good idea he will eventually be able to play. Purely uneducated speculation.

...running with the 1's in drills, in media viewing sessions, caught my attention.

I should have been more clear with that statement. As @Rolltide24 mentioned, it's more about where he's practicing than the fact of him practicing.

I agree, but Spring is for player development, not game prep. CNS, until he has a resolution of the situation, will continue to develop players for Fall contribution. There is a lot more rotation in the Spring to find who can contribute in the Fall.
