Jeff Cottam but i dont know how many games he has played in, if i hadn't grown up down the street from him then I would not be able to name a single player from UT.
You've hit the point.
Granted, I'm not the best to comment on this because I've afflicted with this thing called addiction to football combined with a memory that tends to remember a lot of names.
Anyway...
I got to thinking this morning about teams people are familiar. Then, how many players become household names (or at least sports fans know them) when they are successful on the field.
Take Florida last season.
Tebow, Harvin, Spikes, Dempsey, Raines, Wright, Dunlap, the Pouncey's...
I stopped there.
It was a team loaded with talent, and loaded with names I'm sure you guys all recognized.
I don't know for sure, but I'd guess if I were to ask a rival fan to name Bama players off the top of their head from last year we'd hear Ro, TC, Rashad, JPW, Coffee, Julio, Andre...
This year, we'd hear Greg, Julio, TC, Ro, Ingram, Hightower, Arenas...
Do you see where I'm going?
Now, let's change the subject and bring it closer to home.
Names off the top of your head at Auburn.
