Guys, I don't usually jump on the bandwagon of a guy who is 19-22 years old, even if he just won the Heisman on a championship team. But watching that BCSNCG last night again on ESPNU, watching Ingram work on the field and how he handled himself in interviews, on the sidelines, with his teammates....Man, that kid has more heart than 99% of the people you will ever meet. Every time he touches the ball this year, just soak the moment up, because he's a good 'un. Sure, the story about his dad is touching and that's part of his total story, but he has that look in his eyes like a determined, focused person should have.
Forgive the morning love-fest, but I just hope everyone appreciates Mark Ingram as more than just a heisman winner. The kid is the standard for which college athletes should strive to achieve.
