Last year Bama was 6-2 and looking good for a team with a new coach, but then "November" happened again.

I have read time and time again that depth is our weakness. With the caliber of players that Bama recruits, experience seems to be the main missing element required to remove the "no depth" placard from around our necks.

Do we see a lot of freshmen and 2nd/3rd stringers in the early games -- addressing the depth issue? Will this even be an option considering parody in College Football?

We still have depth issues. However, those issues were magnified by a lack of proper conditioning as well. Last season, I saw definite improvement in that area. Physically, they were able to finish. Mentally, not so much.

That's the main thing I am looking forward to seeing next season. The players are realizing that what Saban has said is true. That's why you see Antoine yelling about the team finding an identity. That reinforced by the phrase Saban has on those posters that are on every locker. "If you continue to do what you've been doing you'll continue to have the same results.

Yes to all, but what form will all this take?

November is no-holds-barred, but what about September?

All it's going to take is the players seeing that "finishing what they start" at the Clemson game actually pays off. This will be a lot more consistent team than we've seen in the past few seasons. :D

I think the next hurdle is the mental aspect. The physical improvement was evident last season so being another full year in Saban's S&C program I think we'll continue to see improvement there.

The mental hurdle of not letting up in games or as CNS puts it "finishing" will be the biggest obstacle for this team. Hopefully most of them learned last season (the hard way) that letting mentally only gets you beat.

We will have a lot of inexperience playing some key positions. I see Bama struggling early and finishing strong.
