🏈 TJ Yeldon Injury Status

Does anyone have a status for TJ's ankle injury. We sure do need him next week. It looked like it was a really bad injury.

I believe a twisted ankle like that might take two weeks sadly. I thought he'd just aggravated the injury from before but this seems like a new one I'd suspect he won't play next week vs MSST and will be back for the WC game or Auburn game. Depending if they decide to rest him a little further.

Who do we have backing him up? I know Derrick Henry spells him, but who is behind Henry. Corrrect me if I'm wrong, but we still have Tyren Jones and Altee Tenpenny in the rotation somewhere, correct?

Jones and Tenpenny would see their reps ramped up should TJ be unavailable.

Coach Saban said today it is a mild sprain. He'll be in a boot all week and could possibly be good to go Saturday.

I'm ready to see Tenpenny get some reps. He generally doesn't have a problem with hitting a hole...

I'd like to see Fowler lined up at FB, Henry at TB and us lined up in the I with two TE's. Just pound the crap out of MSU. Tenpeny, may see some time at TB next week. Fowler can also run the spot some. We have to be able to run the ball better IMO.

Our run game has really struggled the past 4 road games, just can't get the horses running. Losing TJ or playing him at less than 100% isn't going to help that. Hopefully playing at home will jump start things.

Can anyone offer any insight as to why Tenpenny hasn't really been able to step in at this point? Doesn't understand scheme or needs more work blocking etc...

I just thought he was a great fit & was sure he'd be contributing since Drake got injured.
