šŸˆ Tide's Hightower recovering from multiple ligament tears in knee

Alabama linebacker Dont'a Hightower hopes to be back next season after surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL in his knee.

Alabama linebacker Dont'a Hightower met with the media today for the first time since suffering a season-ending knee injury.


Hightower said he tore the ACL, MCL and Meniscus in his left knee.


"I pretty much have a brand new knee," Hightower said.


He said he expects to return next season. Teammates have praised Hightower for being an uplifting presence on the team in spite of his injury.

Situation reminds me of Marvin Constant. He could have been all world until he knee was blown. But Hightower will hopefully return next year full strength.......Protro had to be one of the worst inuries to ever end a football career
 
Hopefully James Andrews. I'm a little fearful that Hightower won't be the same next year. It's one thing to tear your ACL or MCL, but all 3? Hopefully not, but it will probably affect his agility and/or speed.
 
Can't get better than Dr. James Andrews, so that's good news. I thought of Marvin Constant too. Hope Donta can come back just as strong.
