When will TIDEPRIDE announce who among its members will receive requested tickets to the Mighigan game? Does anyone know what the TP Points cut off number is?

Being offered tickets is not the same thing as getting the tickets. I requested BCS NCG tickets, and they held my money just in case. Fail.

I was offered Michigan tickets, said "a'ight", and paid for the tickets. What I don't know is WHO (what point level) will eventually get tickets in hand, or WHEN they will even be told yes or no.

Hearing that some Tide Pride members received an email today offering road tickets that included Alabama vs Michigan tickets, (no guarantee of course) can anyone confirm this?

Yes, I can confirm this. I got the email today.

Dear TIDE PRIDE Member,

This is your opportunity to request away games that were not offered on your 2012 Football Renewal form. This offer is being presented to TIDE PRIDE members who have 0-199 Tide Totalspriority points. All requests will be taken online only. Please login to your account to fill out your application.

vs.Michigan - Sept. 1st, Arlington, Texas (Cowboys Stadium)

@ Missouri - Oct. 13th, Columbia, Missouri
@ Tennessee - Oct. 20th, Knoxville,Tennessee

The deadline to request is Wednesday, June 13th at 5 p.m. CT.

The ability to request tickets does not guarentee you will receive tickets.

There is a limit of 2 ticketsper game. This is NOT a first-come, first-serve sale, requests will be filled based on Tide Totals priority points.

When placing your request you will be asked to provide payment information, however, you will not be charged until it is determined whether we are ableto fulfill your request. If your request is filled, your credit card will be charged.

If your request is fulfilled, your credit card will be charged no later than July 1st. Notification will be sent via email once your credit card is charged.

If you have anyquestions, please contact the Alabama Ticket Office at (205) 348-2262 or via email at ticketoffice@ia.ua.edu.

I received two emails, one (the same on Delta posted) regarding road game tickets, and a second pertaining to the Michigan game. See below.

Dear TIDE PRIDE Member -

Seating locations for the Cowboys Classic game vs. Michigan will be made based on Tide Totals priority points. When you initially requested tickets for the Cowboys Classic the highest pricelevel you were offered was the $125 price level.

It is possible, as we go through and assign seats that we may have some seats available in the $175 price level. If you are interested in requesting the $175 tickets, please Login Here and complete the application titled, "2012 Cowboys Classic Price Level Upgrade Opportunity". The deadline to place this request isWednesday, June 13th.

This is NOT an offer of additional tickets, but an opportunity to request that the seats
you already purchased be placed in a higher price level if available. Please Click Here to see a seating chart with a breakdown of the different price levels for the Cowboys Classic.

If you process this request your card will onlybe charged if we are able to fulfill the request. This is NOT a first-come, first-serve process, all requests will be filled based on Tide Totals priority points. If we are able to place your seats in the $175 price level you will be charged an additional $50 for eachseat that you have purchased.

If your request is fulfilled, your credit card will be charged no later than July 1st. Notification will be sent via email once your credit card is charged.

If you have any questions, please contact the Alabama Ticket Officeat (205) 348-2262 or via email at

ROLL TIDE!

Important to note is that I am not a high point TidePride member, just qualifying for Michigan ticket (which I requested) if all the speculated cut-off numbers are correct. Why ask Joe Six-Pack in the nose bleed section if he want to upgrade if the can't say "...there's a chance."

What has me thinking like Lloyd is the worded that I RED-texted, underscored, and italisized above. They chose to use the word "purchased" as opposed to "requested". The implications of that distiction was the root of my question that started this entire thread. To me, if sounds likes like this Bama fan can pencil in being off of work that first Saturday in September.

I wonder, does this mean that tickets were returned (by travel agencies, ticket brokers and such) or does it simply mean not as many were ordered by the upper levels as projected? I also wonder if it is just a few hundred tickets or maybe a few thousand?

A call to the ticket office indicated that everyone will know one way or another if they have been moved up or became eligible to receive tickets by the first part of July when and if their credit card gets charged.

Good question.

It's not too terribly expensive of a trip of you buy a package from a travel group. I noticed one through Scout that was just over 1000...practically everything included sans your entertainment outside of the game.

Slightly different note Crazy...

At least we aren't in UF's position...they have not sold all their season tickets as of yet...just sent out an email this past week as an advertisement.
