Agree with that, sometimes watching them bat makes my eyes hurt. It looks contagious too, when one goes 0'fer it tend to spread and starts looking like they couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat.

I think it was Chandler Dare that seemed to be the only one that had the changeup figured out as she beat about 6-7 of them into the ground in the game yesterday. She eventually flew out or grounded out but she made that pitcher throw about 8-10 more pitches. Quality at bats!!

Maybe eight depending on LSU vs UL-Lafayette--tough game for the Tigers today. (1PM, CT, on WatchESPN for those interested.)

Batting averages are fairly close .308 to .280, But there's nearly a 100 run difference in the RBI and runs scored and we have well over 100 LOB than them, that tells me that UF is getting the clutch hits when they need them, us, not so much.

I pitched in HS and I used to love when a couple of certain umpires used to call behind the plate. I could throw that pitch on the black and even 2-3" off the black and get the call!!

There's a few things that make me say "hold up" when discussing this upcoming series. One of the biggest things in my mind is how the game shifts when it comes to the Supers and the WCWS--it becomes a lot more about pitching and defense.

I heard someone mention that out of the 16 losses Bama has this season, 11 of them have been without Demi in the lineup. Her presence changes the makeup of the team and the approach Murph will take.

I watched the UF vs Okie State games this weekend and saw UF put one run, followed by them being shut out by Okie State--an un-ranked Oklahoma State. When the Cowgirls were down to the bottom of their pitching rotation the Gators put five on the board. I find that interesting considering the last five games Bama has played against Florida they've given up a total of five runs.

People might consider Sydney to be the weaker link of the two pitches on the staff but she's allowed one earned run against the Gators in her career (18 innings.)

I know this is going to be one tough series. No doubt. I also know that taking in preconceived notions in series like this isn't always the smartest move.

I don't know if that matters. A loss in game one gives a 24 hour break to regroup--for both teams.

I do think being aggressive on the bases will lead to Florida making mistakes. They've had more than a few wild pitches this year when concentration is broken.

Getting on base is gonna be key.....that and not wearing Osorio out, I don't know if Murph has enough confidence in Moore coming in to pitch a few innings to help Lexi and Littlejohn out.
