Great win, that Walter kid had like 30 something points.. Not a great start, at first I thought SDSU was going to run away with it, came back, grabbed the momentum and held on with a clutch buzzer beating 3 from Lacey.. I can see we have no inside presence really, not good at getting the rebounds, our 3 point shooting still needs some work but it is way more consistent than what is was last year.

Still early of course with it being the first game, need to develop some team chemistry. Got some good fast breaks, too many turnovers, Crimson Chaos showed up..Coleman was...probably filled with 1000 people... All i can say, we do have some issues, but a more versatile team, very excited for our future play in the season..Very explosive too..

It's hard to tell from TV, but according to a guy I talked with this morning it was a good crowd; for November.

I realize it's easy for a lot of fans to see the name South Dakota State and scoff. Based on a little surfing around this morning there were a good number of them watching the game last night. It's important to note this SDSU team didn't make it to the Big Dance last season and gave Baylor a pretty damn good run for their money in the first round. More importantly most of those guys are back on this years team.

We're two games in and I'm still looking at our front court and wondering how that shakes out. Our three big combined for what, four points on the night?

Rebounds? Again, this goes back to the big 'uns. It was the back court handling the boards like night—Levi and Steele.

Slow start, good finish. A good showing from the charity stripe.

Far too early to judge Pollard but he wasn't in the game last night.

In the end, I'd have to take this game and chalk it up in the category of a quality win on the post-season resume. We'll hear about this SDSU team again in March.

I agree with you raider. I thought we were gonna get blown out for a second there. What a rollercoaster of a game. We tried valiantly to finish them but they just kept making shots. In the end, with LAcey hitting that shot, the game couldn't have ended more perfectly. We need Lacey to be the man and hopefully this gives him more confidence. I also agree with Terry, I can't believe this SDSU team won't be in the tourney, they're solid.
