Arkansas' defense was better than I thought it was going to be. They deserve to be ranked in the top 10 for sure. This was a helluva win for our guys.

I didnt doubt this team at all. they know how to win and dont know what losing feels like .
What surprised me was how they came out in the first quarter playing .I do think the players read into the hype and watch the morons in the media talk about how arky could beat bama etc. etc. etc.

Today was our closest game with Arkansas since the 2007 game in T Town. 41-38 was the final that night.

Ryan Mallet proved the critics right. Once we got some pressure on him and hit him a few times his efficency went down hill. All that said I am glad he is going pro and we don't have to see him again. on side note. Our defense was hurt by Marcel Dareus in the second half. I can't help but think that Sentimore or Davis would have been more effective than he was in the second half. BTW Jim Mclewain, Lets not get to cut stick with the rush behind the 2 best backs in the nation and remember what got you a national championship.
