Alabama up for ESPY for 'Best Team'

Alabama's 2011 team has a chance for some more recognition before the 2012 season begins. The ESPYS are just around the corner and Wednesday marked the first day of voting. While the SEC has some representatives spread throughout the 32 categories, SEC football is only represented by Alabama, as the Crimson Tide is up for the ESPYS' biggest award -- Best Team of the Year. After being downed at home by only a field goal against LSU on Nov. 5, Alabama won out and eventually faced the Tigers again in the Allstate BCS National Championship Game.
