🏈 This Makes The Top 3 Teams In The BCS.....

If Arkansas beats LSU then its a 3 way tie in the west the determination is BCS rank, unless there are less than 5 spots between the teams.. then it goes head to head so IN order for Bama to be in Atlanta LSU would have to drop to at least #6 or #7.

Sorry, in a three way tie, the head to head tie break only applies to the two team ranked highest in the BCS. The third team - the team ranked lowest among the three - is out.

I don't think that is the case According to how the top 3 were ranked lets say Ark #1 Bama#2 LSU #3...LSU would be dropped then head to head would be used for #1 and #2...which would be Bama. Then we go to Atlanta but I'm not willing to think that they put LSU at #3 unless Ark absolutely destroys them.

This is along my thinking lines...

When we lost to LSU, at home, how many spots did we drop? One. IF Arkansas happens to beat LSU how many spots with the voters drop them? When all is said and done, I still think UArk—even with a win—doesn't pass LSU in the Harris or Coaches. Computers? No doubt they don't pass LSU. SOS alone keeps them out ala 2004 with AU and the Citadel.

I don't think Arkansas beats LSU for that matter...but, that's outside of this thread/question.

I think LSU would drop lower than Arkansas no matter what the score if they lose to Arkansas. My train of thought....we only dropped one spot because we took our UNDEFEATED team and played another that happened to be ranked #1 in the nation. We then took them to overtime. Anyone who watched that game knew who the better team was and the game was an epic, defensive, overtime game lost in the kicking game. Arkansas come in with 1 loss and that was to #2. Even that being said, Arkansas is a "worse loss" than LSU and will still be seen by most as a huge upset. I think BAMA would slide to number one with ARKIE 2 and LSU 3 with any Arkie victory. Not quite the rematch folks might have had in mind but it could happen. Just need Arkansas to win to see if I am right. No big deal. LOL!

You might be right Greg...but, we've seen LSU lose to UArk on their last game of the season, play in the SECCG, and then represent the SEC in the BCSCG.
