It is going to be harder than ever to run the table, and it was already next to impossible (ask a Florida fan). In the future, it will be all about trying to stay in the top 4, so thank God for a playoff. As for this year, if we don't get some miraculous help like we did last season, the BCS game will be a huge ratings coup... it might even outdraw Dirty Jobs...

I didn't like it when the SEC expanded in 1992 (adding South Carolina and Arkansas) and the SEC championship game was added. Bama had perfect regular seasons in 1994 and 2008---but both years they lost to a Florida team with at least one loss. Under the old rules Bama would have won the championship outright.
