That is all I can come up with. Typically in the college game it is tougher to overcome adversity, since the athletes are amateurs. We have accomplished things under pressure many times this season, whether it was the come back in Atlanta to start the year, the game clinching drive against SC, the blocks against Tennessee, the 4th quarter victory against LSU, and the final drive of the Iron Bowl.
In each of these games, I was among those with confidence that the team would pull through, but to tell you the truth, deep down I had wondered if I could really expect the team could make it. So many times, the sense of impending doom was proven legitimate. So many times I have seen victory slip beyond our grasp.
Not this year, as this team has stepped up time and time again. I still watch and exude confidence, but I still doubt at times, and this team has always surprised me.
Our guys played their game today, tough and physical they were, and when it counted they shinned once again, though I wouldn't have bet the farm on them.
You cant overcome a team that does this. Florida will try. Unless Florida can go through every player on our team, Florida will likely fail.
