I have heard people actually proposing two of his points as ways to promote parity.

Reduce Scholarships - Which hurts ALL teams and especially hurts a to of kids who would then be unable to go to college at all.

Expand the playoffs - Will not increase parity, just might mean more hurt players. Does anyone really think any of the teams that would have been in the top 8 but lost anyway would have presented much challenge to the 4 that got there?

In some small ways, sure. There is a reason why I rarely post links to any al.com content on this site. But, it's also an Alabama football discussion board and not very realistic to assume that opinion pieces, no matter how shitty, won't make their way here. I'd also say that after perusing his twitter feed, I lean less towards him being a click-bait specialist, and more towards him being of the Wolken ilk... A guy who has really bad takes on sports because sports make him miserable.
