I know a lot of you don't follow softball like some of us here do...but, her daughter Jordan plays for the Tide.

Sarah Patterson is awesome. I have seen her around campus several times and she always is hospitable and always speaks. One of the first times I saw here, I was standing down around the fence next to the field while the football team was warming up. I turned around and she walked by. I knew who she was, but she walked by so quick I couldn't say anything other than Heeeeeeyyyy... She just grinned and said, "hey to you". She knew I recognized her, but couldn't get anything good out.

Another thing she was instrumental in was raising money for DCH health systems in raising money for their 54 million dollar cancer center. While she is vocal about breast cancer awareness, not many folks know that she is a survivor. She and her husband were in a video for DCH that was used to raise money for DCH. (a community based hospital).
