🏈 There's no easy way to say it....

Two funbles inside the 20, a dropped pass on the goal line. Two other trips inside the 20 resulted in 6 points. Alabama shot their own foot. Im not sold on the greatness of Auburn but I'm also not going to whine like the Aubies did last year and say we dominated for 50 minutes.
 
Points the couldve bbbeen...... points that shouldnt have been, Mark Barron was awful this game.

This offense usually goes conservative one half in the game. That was the case in all games but the SECCG

And you know, we were the guyd with the better team, yea Fairly and newton are good, but for us there are a long list of guys than can be superstars. Losing with them at home is inexcusable. Deffensivly, we had a good game plan but we made mental errors that led to big plays , and it became a game of auburn exploitingguys who didnt execute properly, while the ones that did made plays.
 
Coaching, coaching, coaching. Why in the world is Bama not adjusting during the game? You blow a lead like that, it ain't all on the players...put some on McElwain, Smart, and Saban. You can't milk the clock away with 30 minutes of ball left. If you couldn't smell this going bad after the second play of the first drive starting the second half....I'm just at a loss.

If it were any other team I'd say yeah.. put it behind us. But this was the Iron Bowl, bro. This ass-whoopin' is going to haunt us for the next 100 years, with clips re-played at every other Iron Bowl from here to eternity. Worse still... this one has set a new bench mark for Iron Bowl comebacks and chokes. Mark my words... at every other Iron Bowl for the next 50 years.... any time Bama gets a significant lead, the commentators are going to say... "Hey, let's not forget the 2010 Iron Bowl." There is no putting this behind us.
 
Well that sucked. I can't really put my finger on it, but this team was missing something all season. We knew our defense was going to struggle and our offense would have to carry us and they just didnt do a good enough job of that. The most disappointing aspect of the offense is the lack of running game all season and our redzone offense was terrible all season and it cost us in this game. The Ingram fumble, Richardson drop, and McElroy fumble all were huge. If any one of those 3 plays are different we win the ball game.
 
No, this wil haunt us till they vacate it, They will have to vacate this game at some point. We can only put this behind us.

I hope McElroy is ok, we know wht happened to sam bradford's shoulder last year.

What's the point in dwelling on it??? Were me and you out there? If this loss should haunt anyone it should be the team and the coaches. Besides that I can recall several other Iron Bowl loses that hurt a hell of a lot worse then this one does. Let's be realistic here. Did that 6th straight loss not leave a FAR more bitter taste in your mouth then this loss? If not, it damn sure did me. Who cares about what the talking heads say in the future. Look how many times the Utah game has been brought up since that embarrassment! Sure we will hear about Alabama choking for years to come. Every year round this time we're all reminded of the "punt Bama punt" game and all the other heart breaking loses, so what? I'd still rather be an Alabama fan then a fan of any other team in the world even if Bama lost 12 games in a row!

I understand the hurt, but time heals wounds man. Here's a friendly reminder, when they start playing all the Iron Bowl mash ups and the past Iron Bowl replays next season, don't watch and listen to the one's Alabama lost. It's easier then letting it eat at you.

I understand the pain, trust me. I'm just as disgusted as anyone. I was more angered by Cam's antics after the game. That pissed me off more then anything. Here's to that d-bag getting his after the NCAA proves his old man was asking for money. He proved the kind of jerk he was after this game, screw him and the Barners that worship him.
