🏈 There's a point I've yet to see mentioned with Bama, playoffs, etc.: improvement.

If you stop for second and set aside judgments you've seen voiced, or you've felt, some things to chew on for a second.

The remarks about Grif and field goals have slowly made their way out of the majority of conversations with the exception of some trying to be sarcastic. The media and rivals are quick to point out the stats show 62.5% completion. What they don't mention, at least a very few of them, is Grif is 10 of his last 12.

Scott and his punting ... we've seen his average get better (statistically on the season) week to week to week.

Here's a did you know.

Coker has completed 74 percent of his passes (75 of 101) during the Tide's last four games.

The first rankings are out, and without passing judgment on the rankings I will say two things:

1) I would rather us be in the Top 4 than out, and
2) It doesn't really matter about this week. There is a lot of football still to be played.

The power to be knew what was going to happen by putting Bama at No#4. The Bama hater came out of the wood work. If Bama had not lose a game I don't think we would had been in the top 4.

I was thinking that the "fly sweep" pass has been limited simply because we haven't gotten much out of it. I was going to put the number between 5-7 times over those 4 games.

The early fly sweep for +/- 3 yards has largely become the "fake fly sweep netting some nice gains and TDs in the rushing and passing game" of late

I know it has set up 2 longer passing TDs and has led to 1 Henry TD that was run off the fake sweep. Those same safeties/LB'ers that were stopping it early must commit to it as a fake which opens up other stuff.

I say all this through a mouthful of black feathers as I railed against the play early in the year and have eaten a decent portion of crow seeing how it has set up some later offensive success
