šŸˆ There are two more spring camp practices scheduled this week. That brings a question to mind.

@OldPlayer you may be the best one to answer.

I don't remember a year when they had A-day and then had a few more practices following the weekend. This may be so trivial to me in the past I just didn't pay any attention and the new staff, new routines, made it stick out.

Do you remember a year when the A-day "game" didn't mark the close for spring camp?

Dont know if anybody else does..............but i sure dont remember...
But lived outside Southern US for many years. .........and of course wasn't any way to get detailed info on such...........
Only thing i would get would be what my dad would tell me on our monthly phone talks..

.....Be interesting to see if anyone else remembers....

It's happened before. I remember one, maybe two, when I was there. I don't remember a specific reason for it other than we hadn't used all the allowed practices, and it gave time to evalauate non-starters a little more.

I don't remember them making an attendance announcement. Most fans sat on the west side where there was shade. Remember that the stadium size was basically the lower bowl of today's BDS with a capacity of 60,000. If I had to guess I would say a max of 20,000.
Thats kinda like the norm before Sabans Adays.

Shoot. Use to go. Take grankids. Sit in lowers about 30. Let kids get player autographs at Coleman.... the whole thing was a real family affair.

And then.......
