the worse call ever in an NFL game. E.V.E.R. : Richard Sherman: We're headed to flag football?

What I saw was the QB getting his butt taking to the ground! I didn't see he being push into it either? But you right it getting harder to watch when you can't tackle any one!

I recall it took a while for the college guys to stop spearing with their helmet. It's a much safer game since this rule. The NFL should have started this rule when college accepted it and even though it originally wasn't thought out well, what we have today is so much safer. Getting thrown out of the game has been a motivating factor to conform sooner rather than later. I don't think NFL players can be thrown out. If I'm not mistaken, it's just a 15-yard penalty. The NFL is bad about leading with their head, getting tossed would be more punitive and educational.

JMO I don't think it was called because he lead with his head, but rather because he used his weight to smash the qb into the ground more. Was it necessary? No... Was it any different than any of these players have been taught to tackle? No.
