| PRO The World Series: Dodgers vs Yankees. LA wins its 8th WS title in game five

Lotta Dodgers' fans on fb who wanted to wave brooms everywhere :devilish:
Sweeping the series? Okay, that's a big deal. But, as far as fans go...would they rather be waving brooms or see NY win again tonight so they can celebrate winning the series on their home field?

There's a lot to be said about winning a road game. But, with the WS, I'd definitely prefer to see the team I was rooting for win the deciding game at home; rather than the other side of the country.

I'm sure that's what a lot of the people in L.A. want. I would. I was referring to the people I know, mostly who live here in Alabama.

Only player in WS history to accomplish that feat. George Springer of the Astros held the record and 5 games.
Freeman in this series is Norwood against LSU in the title game. A player you knew could step into a role, but you weren't expecting it to be as big as it was.

Take LA and Ohtani. Then look at Bama with Maze. Freeman steps up for Ohtani, Norwood did for the latter. Injuries have played a role in both.

Completely different circumstances obviously since one of them likely cost his own home team with his interference, but I can’t help but think of poor Steve Bartman while seeing this Brooklyn goon get anointed to Hero status.
Overall, is there a more entertaining group of fans? NY residents, and their teams, their sports.

I don't like what happened here. But, I laughed at what happened at Bethpage Black (and you know me and golf.)

They are a different bunch for sure... most don't take themselves too seriously which is good. I'd rather be around the NY crowd though than the LA crowd if given the choice (at a baseball game anyway). LA fans have a little "Philly" and "Boston" in them.

Have good friend who is a season ticket holder with the Jets and Mets. He's immune to pain.

It's like watching the Knicks play basketball; watching the crowd. "Aight."

I'd love to go to a game in LA. But. BUT. I'd want to have every seat, on several rows around me, with people I chose. Not "I know," I chose.

I have several friends (both XX and XY) who are terrors are on boards of the Stingrays games in town. Absolutely fucking nuts!!! But. BUT, drinking coffee the next morning; pinky finger held high.

Same response. "Aight."

That's obscure.

If you're addicted to Seinfeld like I am, it's not.
