I get it that Dabo is a Bama guy, he can recruit, he is good for 9 plus wins every year. I have heard earlier on; people want him as a replacement when Saban steps down. I do not want Dabo. I am done with the good ole boy network. His legacy is at Clemson, never has been here other than being on that 92 team. He is too quirky for me, and this one play lost the game thing and throwing the QB under the bus...well, it is just as bad as the other 59 or so minutes that lost it for them also. Kind of like the bad officiating thing. They looked predictable even if they did an unpredictable play call that Dabo said wasn't the actual play call. What does that say about him if the players are not listening to his play calls? Happy for him at Clemson, but I am good with him not coming to Bama as our next coach. I still think Coach Saban has as much as 5 more years left in him here. My worthless 2 cents. LOL

One thing to factor in too is that this expanded playoff is going to make it even harder to sustain championship type runs... it's another hurdle added in an already long season. And there will be injuries to key players like QB's (or the Brock Bowers' of the CFB world) that happen in the opening rounds of these playoffs that then derail (better) team(s). It's a two way street in that teams like Alabama can sneak in when they have an off year similar to this season or last, but this expanded field is going to be one hell of a wild card. There will be a narrative change sooner or later among fans and media where making the playoffs will be a major victory akin to making the Final 4 in basketball, because the realistic expectations of winning it all are going to be thrown for a loop, IMO.

Not looking forward to it TBH. I think I'd prefer the BCS to what we have now.

1) No. He's not a great Alabama guy. Just like DuBose isn't a great Alabama guy: same reasons.

2) Fine? I've been pointing to this for over two seasons now. In Dabo's eyes, he'll be fine. Because, like I've said, it's all about Dabo.

In the last 13 years CNS has lost 3 games in a season once Daboo has already lost 3 this year so it's 3 straight years for him in the weakest P5 conference in college football. Those that would claim CNS's run is over are ill informed.

Don't underestimate him. Seasons not finished, but I get what you're saying.
