:a:Twice I've typed out a long, well though out wrap-up of the charter yesterday, and each time the post won't go through. Hmmmm, I've never had an issue with such.

Anyway, feel free to ask any questions. It was a great experience and one I'll always remember. Hopefully there will be many more to come in the future.

The team was very businesslike in its approach yesterday. They weren't studying (well, except for Coach) but weren't exactly cutting up, joking around, etc... It was just like any other road trip on the way to their destination.

The pilots were both Alabama fans and had their flags flying out of cockpit window while I had the interior of the aircraft decorated with signs, banners, shakers and such. It made for a much more personal feel.

Guys that were awake were all watching Auburn game. When the N'western guy came up short at the end there was this loud reaction. It was more of a laughing "no way" type reaction. They clearly weren't pulling against Auburn. I was then reminded of the difference between players and fans when it comes to rivals.

Glad to hear it was a great trip! How was the attitude of the team compared to other times you've gone with them?

Same businesslike approach. I don't know that we'll ever see this team's psyche differ from that no matter the team as long as Saban is there. I hear horror stories from other flight attendants working other charter flights (LSU is the one talked about the most - surprise!).

Thanks for taking us a long, so to speak.

A few questions:
1) What kind of things was Coach studying? Written items, photos, diagrams, biographies, video? Paper or electronic?

2) In his studying, did there seem to be a sense of urgency? Was he calling Coaches together as if there was an issue that needed solved, or was it more like someone who was studying notes before doing a bit of public speaking? Paint a picture for us if you will?

3) You mentioned other teams and their reputations. What can you share about what you have heard?

4) Georgia to California is a long flight, which made me wonder. Was Cody's fluid intake limited? 'Cause that man ain't getting into those little restrooms.

5) Was there a meal served? If so what was offered?

6) One would think not, but are there any team members who clearly do not like to fly? Yes or No is fine. We don't need to know names.

7) For those that did read, what books were they reading? I alway carry something Bama related, so I would be interested to know what "Bama" carries.

8) Was a movie shown? If so, which?

Thanks Sandra.

Those are great questions! I'm curious to know as well.

Was Cody seating next to CNS?

Nope, all seniors up front in First Class. Cody next to Zo. Coach Saban always in coach - always in 1st two seats of coach with Terri.

20 seniors up front with me. I don't know if that includes every single senior, but I do know Tyrone King, Ali Sharieff and Chris Rogers were up there along with the big name seniors as well. I was happy! ;)

Good stuff. Cody and Zo on the same row....poor seats.

1. All video on laptop.

2. No huddling of coaches. Coach Saban was the only one I saw with a laptop. He was VERY focused on that and that alone.

3. I can share that LSU has a horrible reputation with flight crews.

4. Cody didn't get up one time. He slept most of flight. I made sure he was OK before takeoff. Other than that I didn't see him until the very end when he said he was ready to eat.

5. Food bags with sub sandwiches, chips, cheese, apples, etc... were available in their seats upon getting on aircraft. Steak and potatoes were served as well as candy and Dove ice cream bars before landing. Most of the players ate. Breakfast was served before departing Tuscaloosa as well.

6. Yes!

7. I saw no books by players. Most had nothing but an Ipod.

8. In-seat videos were available, so movies were an option. I only saw players watching football. All were watching the AU game. Don't know after that. It was another game (don't know which one).
