The sun still shines and everything is beautiful in the Shoals. I love this place.

Yeah, yeah I know that some of you are gonna belly ache about the sunshine pumper and his stance that the universe isn't crumbling. Deal with it.

The SEC west is called the toughest division in all of sports, not college football......ALL OF SPORTS. It is extremely unlikely that anyone will make it to Atlanta with a perfect record. Out beloved Tide is not out of anything yet. Take care of business the rest of the way and we still have a damn good shot at going to the SECCG. The Rebs will not beat Mittippitti Tate. A lot of ball yet to be played.

We still have a shot at the playoffs. If we make it to the SEC championship and win, we are basically guaranteed a spot because if we survive the SEC West with one loss, it means we beat TAMU, MSU, Auburn, etc. and we are the best team in the SEC period. Easily a top 4 team. I don't see an East team challenging most of the West. Wins can only make us move up from here. It's not over. I haven't given up. I don't see any team making it into the playoffs undefeated. There is still hope for us. There is still a chance. Ya gotta believe!

Agreed PhillyGirl. Can't believe some of the mistakes he made yesterday. Guess we need to trust Saban more when he is not using players as much as we would like. Can't believe that 5' 9" defender caught that pass in the end zone. He wanted it and OJ didn't w ant it enough to hustle. Who was it that got called for the hold on the last drive? I believe that was OJ but can't remember for sure, I was so angry.

@XXL TideFan, you know, I wondered last year when the barn beat us with the incredible luck they seem to have if the sun would ever shine again and it did. Same with Ole Miss yesterday. It hurt like hell to lose because I've been so spoiled by the success Bama has had the last 7 years or so. We're not used to losing anymore and thank God for that.

I even showed my class today instead of my ass when an Ole Miss fan stopped me in the aisle at Lowes and said,"do you know that Bama is 4-3 in their last 7 games?" I replied, "no, hadn't really thought about it. We played as badly as we could yesterday and still almost pulled it out. Think about that and enjoy your win while you can." And then under my breath as he walked away I said,"you bastard."

My wife took my hand and said "you handled that very well." Life is good.

They also won't beat auburn and will probably lose next week on the road at A&M. And to be honest, they won't care. Their eggs were in the Alabama basket, which is fine, but that made their season last evening.

When the highlight of an opposing team's season is defeating your team, you are a fan of a good team. See: Auburn, Ole Miss ..

is it possible to end the season with three SEC teams having 1 loss? i don't really want to do the math and i'm sure one of you retired people has calculated this already.

if so, how do we decide who goes to the SECCG? pardon me if this is a dumb question.
