Historically speaking, Notre Dame is very surprising to me.

And not sure what to make of the 'That's so David" comment? "Thumping your chest" is what college football is all about. Probably has something to do with the lifetime mantra, "bragging rights." Just hope "David" isn't trying to cover a sport he seems to have a very little personal feel or perspective of. Then again, these days, he may actually be the majority. Nevermind, Tweet on!

Lol. So top 15 of bluebloods... hard to argue top 5... had a hard time including Florida, Miami and fsu....in long term... last 50 years ok. But none were a continuous power before that....

I followed this thread about a year ago. You'll notice one of UCF's fans chimes in on Florida and FSU.

No Florida schools should make the list. Michigan, Penn State, and Tennessee get in. LSU at #11, is lurking.

FSU has not been a traditional power either. First appearance was in late 80's. Now they had a great run during Bowdens tenure but before that not so much. I am surprised Nebraska and Texas are not higher but times have been lean lately. The viles and LSU blue bloods? No way. Viles are probably closer than LSU.
