The Resident College Football Expert: Championship Week
By RollTideRandy

The Resident College Football Expert loves Championship Week! It’s like five early bowl games, only you might play a team that’s already blown you out earlier in the season. Those are really the best games. The ones where you know which team is superior and wonder if they will lose by 35 again or only lose by 31 this time around.

This season though, we have quite a twist to Championship Week. Only one game is a re-match proving that a weak schedule can be a strong contributor to team success. So without further delay, let’s take a look at the celebration of collegiate athletics that is Championship Week…

It baffles The Expert that some conferences are still not awesome enough to have a championship game. What’s wrong with these people? How hard is it to add a couple of more teams and make your conference great? Like the Pac 10 for example. Who wouldn’t want to see another Oregon-USC game? That 44-10 blow-out earlier in the year was so much fun. Why not do it again?

Also, what about the Big 10? Could you imagine the fun of another Ohio State - Penn State game? Why rob us of that? If these two loser conferences would just add a stinking Championship Game, we could have one week with only seven games and every team playing in those games has a winning record. Someone has to make this happen!

But until they do, we just have to live with the Championship games we have now, which are still pretty awesome. So here’s a preview of Championship Week.

Good stuff, Randy, but 52 points against Florida.

That ain't no Big 12 defense coming in from Gainsville.

Although they've been a bust this season, I give the Sun Devils the nod against the Wildcats.
