If we had to walk a mile in each person’s shoes before commenting there wouldn’t be much to post. Maybe that would be best. Here’s what I attempted to point out but obviously did so poorly. Far too many young players … especially QB’s who do well on the 7 on 7 circuit … truly believe they’re going to get rich in the NFL before they even know if they’re going to make it in college ball. Blake came to Bama like that … and sadly never made it to the NFL. As for my favorite Saban QB well, that’s Mac. He came in humble and stayed in place long after most in today’s game would have transferred. He soaked up all he could learn and didn’t let his ego cause him to make a bad decision. He paid his dues and now has an opportunity in the NFL.
