Yeah, he pretty much hit the nail on the head. Baseball/softball has never been my thing, I just don't enjoy it, but it's insane the lack of support they get.

I have to wonder how the coaching staff's of the Big12 and B1G feel about their AD's voting against something they all need. How would you feel as a softball coach at OU knowing the conference was against improvements in the health of women's softball, conference wide?

(The notion I've seen some put out that "you don't have to hire a third if you don't want one" isn't going to fly with anyone who can't hire a third.)

Some of the schools that voted against it were even more puzzling than the conferences. Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, and even Oregon State voted against the paid 3rd assistant. WTH?

This is a horrible decision IMO. The powers that be are killing baseball. Bottom line is always about money.

The scholarship limit is a joke. If they're so worried about Title IX, give softball the same # of respectable schollies at 20 or so, even-Steven.
