🏈 The person with the best chance of being "the next Julio" is Marvin Shinn

Well the kid can play there's no doubt, but Julio is a freak-- 6' 4" 220 pnds and runs like a running back, Marvin will be good, and he can play theres no doubt, but maybe not the next Juuuuuuuulio

woooo, thats a statement. being the "next Julio" isnt just being a good receiver imo. being tough as a 2 dollar steak, being unbelievably aggressive, and an incredible run blocker goes into being that great too imo.

Yeah I am getting the tweets from Andrew Bone he says he could be rhe best player in the state...maybe not Julio caliber but maybe Aj Green,Alshon Jefferey

There isnt another julio, he was a generational player. But thats not to say Marvin Shinn wont become a highclass widereceiver. Really though, Norwood and Kenny Bell are really good, and get their first big shots next year. Im excited for those two as well, being talented guys themselves.

I've been watching Bama football seriously since the sixties. The only Bama receiver I'd compare Julio with is Ozzie Newsome.

Shinn is tall, he can run, and he has great hands. I am very excited about him coming in. I hope he can put himself in the class with Julio and Ozzie.

The thing about Julio is that he was a MONSTER before even stepping on campus, 6'4" 217 pounds. Shinn is 6'3" but hes only 177 right now, def. looks good as hell on film tho. guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I will say this. Marvin is a FANTASTIC receiver that I have watched for the last couple of years. My son went man to man against him in '09. This kid is a competitor and a warrior! He played hurt during most of the season this year, and i can tell you that Vigor would not have made it to the playoffs without him. I spoke to him last year after the game and he is/was very well-mannered (yes sir/no sir) and was very humble. I've seen what he can do, and it is definitely "Julio-esque." We are fortunate to have him play for us and he does not acknowledge moral victories. He is a winner.

Just watched hios highlight videos, and e looks more like AJ Green than Julio. Though my only question is is leaping ability, that is the only thing I didnt see.

Nice juke move that doesnt break stride makes him a danger in space, good hands and body control makes him a danger in man. I am not a good judge on route running, so someone should fill me in.

Two points.
1) What makes Julio super has just as much to do with non-receiving matters (i.e. blocking, toughness, hard working competitor....)
2) Marvin is more like an A.J. Green than a Julio, and I don't see that as a slight at all.

Marvin can be another special player.
