🌎 The Michigan man charged with manslaughter for fatally shooting one of the “teens” he caught breaking into his garage has been bound over for trial

I think, pretty sure, I told part of this story several years ago.

The guy who lives behind me and I got to be pretty good friends in the 20 years he lived there. It was to the point I built a gate between the two backyards; he build a little opening with a shelf for drinks and face to face Convo...

We had an issue with a guy flying his drone over the two backyards and watching. It pissed me off; privacy fences have their purpose, ya know? It reached the point I called the desk Sargent and explained the situation asking for advice. Hand to God, he said, "got a shotgun?"

So...the next time I told the guy, "I'm going to get my shotgun and shoot your drone out of the )(&() sky if it comes over out backyards again."

... minutes later ...

Cops knock on the door. Our conversation ended like this.

Me: So, you are saying, don't take my shotgun and shoot the drone?
Cops: Yes.
Me: Okay. I wont use my shotgun to shoot the drone.
Cops: Sir, don't shoot down the drone; with anything.

...never saw the drone again.

Cops do tell ya things that will get you in trouble.

Oh. I did make note of the Sgt,'s name, time, date ... "these calls are recorded for..."

Got mine out when my daughter told me there was one over the backyard of our old house. It left before I got in range. I'd expect most in the south to shoot one hovering over their property.
