🏈 The idiot sportscaster

robert smith is the dummy that basically acted like it was a crime for mark to even be in the top three. he was strait mad that the result wasnt what he picked cause he didnt have mark on his ballot . then he wants to go off and talk bout how these other guys deserved it more and how toby gerhart played against all these great pac-10 defenses and mark played against these sec d's that were not even close to them and the reason he won was based on the preception of the sec to all the voters and he didnt stop there then he talks about how they need to change the way the voting is done. after his rant then he wants to try to say im not trying to take anything from ingram he is deserving but i think there are others more deserving .he is a disgrace to say those things and act such a way after mark just won it i mean a couple minutes after the announcement .
HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED NEVER HAVE I SEEN ANYONE ACT THAT WAY I AM UTERLY DISGUSTED AND ALL OF BAMA NATION SHOULD BE BECAUSE HE BASICALLY SPIT IN MARKS FACE

I hear ya. I was irritated by what Robert said too. It's just sour grapes. I mean, c'mon. Bama is 13-0....Mark Ingram is a BIG reason that we are still undefeated and going to the National Championship game. What have people like Gerhart and Suh acheived? Not very much! While Gerhart and Suh are great players, don't get me wrong...they haven't exactly led their team to be world beaters. Stanford is overachieving this year, I give them that much. But they are still an 8-4 team, in what is a very terrible PAC 10 this year. USC is wayyyy down. Oregon is unpredictable, California was looking ok until they were pounded by Washington in the final game of the season. So to me, Gerhart's stats are padded by gawd-awful teams that he played against. Suh is one beast of a linemen, don't get me wrong. BUT...again, his team is 9-4. I know many will say, well the Heisman is an individual award for the best player in the country, not the best team. Well, that's true, but one would think that the best player in the country would be such a great leader that his team ends up being one of the best teams in the country. That's why I say Mark Ingram was more deserving than anyone!

And for those like Robert Smith that disagree.....look at the record books.....I don't see Gerhart leading Stanford down to Pasadena....nor do i see Suh and Nebraska there either. Simple as that.

Robert Smith has been hammering us all year long, most notably McElroy. Ive forgotten it now(I posted about it, ill c&p it in a second) but I know he has pissed me off this year.

EDIT - Here it is

ESPN commentator Robert Smith just tore up McElroy on sportscenter, saying that all our problems on offense were his fault, and then ran off on a bunch of negative statistics on him.

Some more poor journalism on our QB, I dont think I can read that on top of the crap I just heard.

EDIT: He didnt imply it or anything, HE SAID IT WORD FOR WORD.

This was back when McElroy was having a hard time, but to pin every single problem we had on a guy who has been money for us in big games like he was, was unfair and wrong.

From what I can gather he said about Mark Ingram, the guy must have something against us.
