His brutal honesty last night after the game was not surprising (coming from him) but it was still kinda funny. And I do wonder if his extremely high confidence on "raining 3's" against BYU's defense (based on them going under screens instead of over) trickled down to the guys. Apparently, UA was more than prepared to adjust and take the battle into the paint like they've been doing in previous games, but they never had to. BYU just kept doubling down and busting with the thought that Bama would cool off.

BYU hasn't had a good perimeter defense all season. I think/thought I mentioned that...prolly thought it and forgot.

Just musing...I'm giving Flagg is 20-30 points and shutting down the other four. CNO has taken that approach in games we've seen over the last few years.

That strategy is good, but not easy. They only have 2 other guys that average double figures and both are guards, Knueppel and Proctor. They’ll get shots off, we need to make them tough shots. If Flagg ever decided to be selfish, he could score 50. Arizona put up a ton of points, so we could hit 100 again if we’re on. I’m thinking our tournament experience gives us an edge. Imagine saying that versus a Duke team in a March Madness game!
