📽 "The Founders." The documentary of the 13 women who started the WPGA (now LPGA). A really interesting movie.

One of the ladies told the story of how she bought her putter: found balls and sold them. I was given my first set of clubs but spent a good two hours finding ball at the local Muni...good tore up with bug bites, but found A LOT of balls.

Good, educational flick.

I found this on Prime. You can find it on several places like Pluto, Roku, Tubi ...

While I was at Fort Benning we were living in the Housing on base. Cable TV was still basic. We would watch a lot of all type of sports. The LPGA was on and I always like Nancy Lopez.

This is covering the women before, and just after, WW2. Those ladies were "late" to the game; but did explode its popularity.

In my opinion, no one more than Stephenson.
