🏈 The first backup QB to start in Saban Era (Due to Injury)

I heard that on the radio this morning. That is crazy. 13 years CNS never had to start a backup due to injury at UA...

My initial reaction was, that has to be wrong. But I don't recall any. I remember Cooper Bateman starting that damn Ole Miss game but if I recall, Coker came in later so I believe that was a coaches decision.

Either way to keep QB's this healthy is a great sign of coaching, recruiting, and flat good luck! Yet another feather in the CNS cap. RTR

I think that is correct. I remember they were willing to burn the RS on AJ in the 2009 BCS game if GMac was unable to go. He had a couple of broke ribs from an earlier game. That's about as close as I can recall.
