🏈 The Decade to Come

So a friend of mine pointed me in the direction of a youtube video of the images of the last decade recently. But throughout it I couldn't help but wonder if there was "a team of the decade" really. Usually we come out of a decade and I think can clearly say it was Alabama's decade, or Miami's decade, or someone elses, but, was there really a team of this past decade? (and I don't think we can say it was USC who dominated the middle of the decade b/c of how they ended it...) And that leads to the bigger question though, who do you think will be the team of this coming decade???

Mayans never won nothing in Football and are a bunch of losers living in the past. They have their one success, that stinkin' calendar, and that will play out here in a year or two and then you won't see anymore Mayan car flags...mark my word. Coach Saban could kick their tails, and do it without some Las Vegas Show Girl reject feathered head dress. They want to talk about home field advantage with their "you're in the jungle" and "beware that Jaguar". Have they seen the Deliverance reinactment in Knoxville on a Saturday? Seriously. Do you know what heat exaustion and spiced rum does to those jean-shorts wearin' rednecks in Gainesville. Do the Mayans have that VooDoo crap they cook up down in Baton Rouge, NO! "Cut off your head" they say. Dude. I'm pretty sure shrunken head is on the menu somewhere in the SEC. I am so sick and tired of the Mayans. I swear, they are wores than Notre Dame...and just as relavant.

maybe we have to look at it from a conference stand point rather than a individual team.

teaxs had a couple good years, ohio state had a couple good years, we had a couple good years, lsu had a couple, usc....??? you are right tho...no one can really claim it as theirs.

Yeah, I disagree, we had teams of the 70s, 80s, 90s, just b/c one team isn't on top through a decade I don't think that means the dynasties are gone.

If I had to pick the most consistent team of the decade I'd have to go with either Tejas or USC.

I have to agree. Even with the Bush incident doesn't really make me think otherwise.
