Yup.

I think we ALL new it then too. After watching the bowl game against CO, I wondered if CO was just bad or had we sorta turned the corner. Then the recruiting class that was brought in was like downshifting to pass everybody. And as I followed the team in the off season & watched the practice video's on D w/ Mt. Cody, it seemed pretty clear we were about to pass people on the first curve of the lap.

I had predicted a score of 30-20 for that Clemson game all Summer long. On the morning of the game I said to my self, "Self, Cody is absolutely going to dominate that young Clemson O line. You had better roll out the 34-13 score." Would have been exactly that except for Clemson having to go for the TD late in the game rather than kick the FG.

and then there was this ...

Clemson post-game presser ... Saban asked how much confidence the performance will give his team going forward into the season. And notice how Saban comes back around at 1:30 to respond to questioner's presupposed notion that his team needs any additional confidence.

"I didn't see anybody scared out there. I didn't see any fear." :bow: It's got to be awesome to play for a coach with that kind of personality.
