Both have obviously been crowned by Bama fans. WHich one will prove to be a bigger disappointment?

Only thing I see about AJ is he needs to become a little more patient and be more aware of the field. Something that will be worked on before next season starts. Other then that I can't see where he'll be a letdown at all???

I don't remember if it was his first or second pass, but he threw into triple coverage with another receiver open. VERY bad decision - we were lucky they couldn't hold on to the INT. Plus, he wasn't taking the shorter passes they were giving, he was trying to get downfield to quickly. He has lots of skill, but he really needs work on decision-making.

Determining if if AJ has gotten better or not will come in November of 2011, not November of 2010. AJ might not even be the starter next year.

How long have you been with this fan base? I'm 30 years in & I think I learned to expect things like this, & wanting to fire Saban after losing to Georgia, & wanting to start AJ ever since he stepped on campus sometime in the early 90s.

Someone HAS to be voted off the island? Well I can see you're a glass HALF BROKEN kind a guy.

There is zero reason why both can't be succesful...short of being judged by unrealisitic expectations. Will Grant go undefeated? No. Will McCarron go undefeated? No. Are they WINNERS? Yes, even before they begin.

Yeah, I think Sims wins the job in the Spring, I almost even think Saban looked at him to be the starter next year this whole time-- though obviously, everyone and their mother will disagree with me and Saban is far from ever admitting who it'll be.. Sims just gives a few more options, I think his mechanics are better, (if you notice AJ has a very long release) tho he is definitely not a $cam or Jesu--I mean Tebow, and I think his arm is better, watch him in warm ups
