🌎 The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which funds NPR and PBS, says it will close down after federal cuts.

At one time PBS wouldn't get any funds from the big corporation. They do now.

I used to watch a good bit of PBS. Not so much anymore.

I enjoyed This Old House, The Woodwright's Shop and still like to watch The Antiques Road Show.
A couple other series I watched were Alby Mangels and Anne of Green Gables.

Which are available almost everywhere for free. On a rainy morning a few weeks ago I watched several episodes of This Old House and I want to say it was on "Plex." It may have been "Pluto."

The biggest peeve with all of this is this cliche, "it saves people lives." Who the hell is tuning into one of those stations in a tornado warning?
