Good write up. Once Saban got established, it was all over for Richt.

Keep your eye on Dan Mullen too. That guy is going to have Miss St. back on top soon. He lost some close ones this year trying to be too aggressive but he will probably win coach of the year next year.

I think it's moronic for anyone to talk about firing Mark Richt, although as a Bama fan, I hope they do. Just as I was glad they fired Tubby at Auburn.

As inconsistent as UGA has proven to be over the last few years, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect more.

A lot of undisciplined play this year. Heck, I liked what I saw UGA fielding this year...but, it's pretty clear they need some shake-ups on that staff.

Most Dawg fans want Martinez gone...I'd suggest adding Bobo to that list as well.

I wanted TT to leave au in a pine box. He was po'd at Lowder and the whole bunch and didn't give a **** about au anymore. Duck hunting while Saban was recruitting! What more could we want?

I think like Argo that for Richt to hang around at UGA he must do some serious renovating to his staff. Usually the AD tells the HC to change the staff if you want to hang around at least another year. If it doesn't happen then, well we all know what happens!!

True. That said, I've not held back on criticisms of Mike Bobo at all this year.

I did expect more from the back seven at UGA—Curran hasn't disappointed.

I've never been one to think it was wise to keep the HC if he fires the coordinators under duress. Except in a few situations, the HC gets to hire the people he wants. Bad hires are just as much his responsibility as bad recruiting or bad strategy.

Mark Richt has been a great coach at Georgia. I certainly believe that he should be given the chance to get his team back on track, but he has to make changes on his staff. They simply aren't getting it done.

As well as Georgia has recruited this decade, there's no reason for them to be sitting at 4-4. They still have Auburn, Kentucky and Georgia Tech left on their schedule. Factor in the way they've played this season, and it's very possible for them to lose all 3 games. If that were to happen, UGA will likely clean house. Good man or not, Richt's team has played well below potential for two seasons now, and it's not because of talent.
