You have to believe that ADs will be under the microscope should they even consider Pitino. Consider that UT boosters and fans put the kabash on hiring Schiano simply because he was a one time member of Paterno's staff while Sandusky was roaming free. I think the baggage will be too much for any college team to risk.

I'm not sure whether to be a little surprised or just chalk this up to Ole Miss being Ole Miss. His relationship with street agents--which resulted in A&M getting sanctioned and ultimately led to him getting fired as head coach--makes this seem like an odd hire.

Wow that is a program ender right there. They couldn't wait to fire Kevin Stallings even though he inherited a dumpster fire and now all the progress he had made with recruits coming in and transfers is leaving too. This will set them to the bottom of that league for 5-10 years
