Early betting line for Alabama, Georgia SEC Championship Game is out

13.5 sound right? Bama over UGA


With Alabama’s 29-0 win over LSU and Georgia’s 34-17 win over Kentucky, the SEC Championship Game has already been decided.

It’s the earliest the SEC East and West has been determined in the history of the SEC Championship Game, per the SEC, as there’s still a month of football to be played.

Nonetheless, Las Vegas SuperBook has the Tide a 13.5-point favorite over the Dawgs. Alabama opened as a two-touchdown favorite over LSU; so, this line certainly makes sense.

Aside from Clemson, Alabama would likely be a two-touchdown favorite over everyone.

As of today on a neutral field we're looking at Bama -18, at home would put it at -20.5. The way Vegas has been fading Bama opponents, seeing -22 to -24 wouldn't shock me.

UGA coming up on AU's schedule is going to change that number a bit.

(HFA has been averaging about 2.5 across the board this season.)
