šŸŒŽ The best complaint I've seen yet about the tariffs.

$53.89 sales price. $131.75 discount. I guarantee there’s still a profit being made.
Here it is again. It's why I love you.

Literal versus ...

First. It's TEMU. There's the foundation of the joke. It's TEMU.
Second. They have a "clause" in their "fine print" that says, basically, "this charge may not be accurate against the tariffs...but, ya know."

I've been watching this company for a few years They continue to keep my interest: not for orders. There's a back-flash against drop shipping that's hit the last few years...just an interesting thing to watch.

There are several companies operating in the US that are implementing tariff pricing even though the goods that will be tariffed haven’t left China or arrived in the US. Everything that TEMU sells is being shipped from China so the tariffs apply. China needs the US market to survive. Your example shows how they can survive by implementing heavy discounts that are countered by Tariff costs. Remember that the listed price is not the cost (what determines the tariff amount). The profit still exists, just less. It goes back to rule #1 of business. The goal of business is to stay in business.

I know. If I appeared at a comedy club, with a two drink minimum, would you ask for water and wash clothes?

It's TEMU.
