šŸˆ The Alabama-Mississippi State game is set to kick off at 2:30 p.m.

I agree with Josey... I think the MSU game will put up a better Defense than the LSU game. Not sure MSU can actually score on us, but I do think after watching several of their games that their Defense is one of, if not the best, Defense in the SEC as a whole unit.

What I find a little surprising is this season is shaping up to be out of Bama's home games only one will be at night. I'm thinking early kick for The Citadel.

yep, citadel should be a 2:30 kick, as well (ooc games usually are). and i'm thinking it'll probably be on either abc or espn 2.

By early, I believe he meant EARLY, as in 11:00 on SECN. The Citadel will probably lose to Samford on 11/10.

The thing is we are (and thank God we not) ND!
NBC, but close.

That's exactly what I meant, @252BAMA

For CBS, there are three games available that can be in the afternoon kick slot: Ole Miss vs Vandy, UT vs Mizzou, and MSU vs Arkansas. If Vandy pulls out a W visiting Mizzou I'd think CBS would choose them based on a win puts them in a bowl. ESPN2 grabs another SEC game for their early evening kick and we're seeing an SEC vs OOC game late on ESPN2.

Bama has had one game where they were the early kick on SECN, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities we see them on SECN in the afternoon or evening slot. I don't see Bama headed to ESPN or ESPN2.

But what do I know about how these TV execs think? After all, CBS replaced Verne with that hack Nessler.

Hate 11 KOs.....
And Week before Thanksgiving
Should change to first-come seating.....close uppers....
Have freehot dogs .... coffee... give 2018 National Champs posters free..
Make it different and fun....sell next year tickets as first- come seating...
Or bring in a competitive team....none of which sounds like it will EVER happen

none of which sounds like it will EVER happen
...especially when you start with closing the upper decks. Even if 20,000 didn't show for the 11 o'clock kick, there's still 40,000 left who will attend. The lower bowl only seats a little over 40K.

They ....whoever they is....are business people....who have been around Bama athletics for a few years....some more than others.....run this thing as a business...which i guess they should...and better to stay competitive...
I see athletics from my point of view...and i have been around it for many more than a few years....ok....they wanna maximize profit...I wanna maximize enjoyment...and pride..and enrichment....and competitiveness....(i know most do also)
....Terry, you know it wasnt a serious thought or recommendation....it was fallacy....
And is...I know that....
But i would take 40K that really wanted to watch the game...lol
