I'll admit I was curious to see how he was going to end his tenure at Alabama, and he did with a BANG.

Quick: Name the last time Alabama averaged 30 points a game over four straight seasons as it did in McElwain's tenure. That would be 1970 to '73. Until McElwain came after Nick Saban's disastrous trial with Major Applewhite, the Crimson Tide hadn't even averaged 30 in a single season since 1983.​
