The day before the Senior Bowl I would like to take a moment to thank our seniors.
They have helped turn the ship and take the program back to where it should be!
Sure as Freshman and Sophomores the record does not look so good. But the last two years made the pain go away. At least for me it has.
With an overall record of 39-15, a 2-2 record vs Auburn, a 3-1 record vs Tennessee, and key wins over VT, Clemson, Georgia, and Florida they have left their mark. Oh, and they won SEC and BCS Championships!
I'll never forget chants of JAVY in the fall, watching Cody crush a ball carrier, Mike Johnson paving the way, Tiffin kicking for all those points, PJ's booming punts, and Upchurch in his moments of glory. While the list of Seniors below may not bring a memory for each one they did contribute on the practice field, special teams, or in some smaller role that never got them the glory of the stars we knew on a weekly basis. Good luck guys in whatever career you pursue, and thanks!
