🏈 Texas Tech pulls kicker from the crowd....

this was apparently big news here in Texas (I heard about it Saturday from a Tech fan while at my daughters soccer game).

the story goes this kid was just kicking a field goal for free rent in his apartment. apparently Tech's Leach found out and offered him a shot, and he started on Saturday...pretty damn cool.

He went 9/9 on PATs. Their other kickers had missed 4 or 6 I believe.

The story has been all over ESPN on PTI and ATH. Pretty cool story.

He was a FCS kicker before. So not a total stranger to kicking the football.
