Now that would be some funny shit right there. Even crazier that OU doesn't have one of the top 10 in Texas...they've always recruited Texas well.

8 of their 10 commits are from Texas currently.

@planomateo If Texas does "strike out" on top ten players from in-state, it'll mean they've managed to sign one of the top ten the last two years running (two of you look at 247's composite.) He was the 10th ranked player from that state according to Rivals.

To top it off, I don't see him as being a kid TX has to pursue.

One thing to note about 2014 class, Charlie Strong didn't have much time to lock down the 2014 class, basically a month. I'm sure Louisville recruits Texas, just not sure how deep his connections were at this point in the recruiting process for 2014.

I read somewhere they are 2 for 15 in head to head recruiting battles in the state...
